I'M JOHN
I have personally maintained or repaired almost 1,500 pools in my 30+ years in the pool industry.
I have been told over and over again that the way that I explain things is easy to understand and that they have learned more in the last 15 minutes than they have learned in the last 15 years.
My course will help you master your pool water and equipment. My goal is to get you comfortable with your pool maintenance so that you can save hundreds of dollars per year and finally enjoy your pool.
MY STORY
I started in the swimming pool industry while still in high school. I trained to become an assistant manager at a local pool supply store in California. I was only 17 years old. Two years later I was offered my own store to manage. I loved managing that store but didn't love the hours. After 2 1/2 years I started my own business all the way back in 1999. Since then I have serviced or repaired over 1,500 swimming pools.
In addition to my weekly service I am also a Licensed CA Contractor and install pool pumps, filters, heaters, cleaners, salt systems, and electric automation controllers.
About 10 years ago I wrote the first edition to my book "Pool Maintenance Made Easy" available on Amazon. I've since re-wrote this book and will continue to update it as time goes on.
After all of these years, I've decided to help pool owners that would like to learn the maintenance through an online video course. I've been working diligently to create and update my online course that's designed to make learning as simple as possible. I think this course will really help many people learn what they need and save hundreds per year by buying only the correct pool chemicals instead of listening to the local pool store and possible buying things they really don't need. Many of these unneeded chemicals can actually cause damage to your pool over time as well.
